Amit is Managing Partner at Asha Ventures and is responsible for the firm’s overall strategy, fund-raising and investments. He has 17+ years of end-to-end investment experience focused on mid-market segment in India. Most recently, Amit was part of IIFL Private Equity where he led the firm’s investments across Financial, Technology and Consumer sectors. During his tenure Amit was responsible for several marquee investments which delivered stellar returns to investors. He has served as Director on the board of Northern Arc (filed for IPO), Kogta Financial (Exited), Happily Unmarried and Pickrr Technologies (Exited). Other investments at IIFL that Amit was responsible for include Nazara Tech (Exited), NSDL Ltd (Exited), NSE (Exited) and Vastu Housing Finance. Earlier, Amit has worked with Motilal Oswal Private Equity a mid-market focused domestic private equity fund. At Motilal, Amit was responsible for investment in Arinna Lifesciences and was involved in Dixon Technologies (Exited).
